Terms & Condition

These Terms explain the rules for using Hiring Genie (hiringgenie.ai) our AI interview platform. By using the Service, you agree to them.

 

1. Accepting These Terms
Using Hiring Genie means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you're using it on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have the authority to agree on its behalf. Candidates invited to an AI interview are also covered by these Terms. You must be 18 or older to use the Service.

 

2. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version here with a new "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to check this page periodically to stay informed of any changes. Continuing to use Hiring Genie after an update means you accept it.

 

3. Using the Service
Hiring Genie lets Organizations run AI-led interviews recording, transcribing, scoring, and evaluating candidates. Please don't:

  • Use the Service illegally or to discriminate against candidates

  • Try to reverse-engineer or extract our AI models

  • Use bots or scrapers on the platform

  • Impersonate someone else or use another person's interview session

  • Try to manipulate or "trick" the AI interview or scoring

  • Resell or give others access without our permission

 

4. Your Account
Please keep your account details accurate and your login secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account, and we may suspend or close accounts that don't follow these Terms or contain inaccurate information.

 

5. Intellectual Property
Hiring Genie owns the platform, our AI models, and our brand. Using the Service doesn't give you ownership of any of that. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them freely to improve the product.

 

6. Content You Provide
You keep ownership of what you submit resumes, interview responses, recordings, etc. By using Hiring Genie, you allow us to store and process that content to run the Service. Candidates will be informed when interviews are recorded, and Organizations are responsible for having proper consent to record and evaluate candidates in their region.

 

7. AI Output & Automated Decisions
Hiring Genie uses AI to generate interview questions, transcripts, and candidate scores ("AI Output") designed to support your hiring process. A few things to keep in mind:

  • AI Output is a helpful input, not a replacement for human judgment — we recommend using it alongside human review as part of your hiring decision

  • Organizations are responsible for following any laws in their region about AI hiring tools, bias audits, or candidate notifications

  • The Service is intended to help you evaluate candidates fairly, and must not be used in a way that discriminates against candidates
     

8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it, including interview recordings and transcripts. Using Hiring Genie means you agree to that collection and use.

 

9. Data Security
We take data protection seriously and use industry-standard safeguards to keep your information secure. We also encourage you to do your part by keeping your login credentials safe. If a data breach affects your information, we'll notify you as required by law.

 

10. Third-Party Services
To power the Service, Hiring Genie works with trusted third-party partners to help deliver a smooth experience. Each of these partners operates under their own terms.

 

11. Ending Your Access
You can stop using Hiring Genie anytime and delete your account. Sections like Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Liability continue to apply even after your account ends.

 

12. Disclaimers of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service, or its AI Output, will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

 

13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hiring Genie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits or data — arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

 

14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hiring Genie and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

 

15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country]. Disputes will be handled in the courts of [City, State].

Consider with counsel: many platforms use binding arbitration instead of court — worth deciding deliberately.

 

16. A Few More Things
These Terms, plus our Privacy Policy and any signed agreements, make up our full agreement with you

  • If one part of these Terms isn't enforceable, the rest still applies

  • We can't be held responsible for delays caused by things outside our control

  • You can't transfer these Terms to someone else without our approval; we can, if our company is sold or merges

  • We'll send important notices by email or through the Service
